Pastor Dave Olson

I started at First Lutheran in 1999 and enjoy serving the members of this congregation as well as the Sandpoint community as a whole. My father was also a pastor and I spent my youth living in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. I have a bachelor's degree in Religion and a minor in Philosophy. Before enrolling in Luther Northwestern Theological Seinary in 1984, I pursued my love of woodworking. I owned and operated Olson's Woodworking in Gig Harbor, WA. I was ordained on September 11th 1988, and prior to coming to Sandpoint I served at various churches in Thompson Falls, Hot Springs, Baker, Plevna, and Ekalaka - all located in Montana. My wife, Karla, and I have four children -- Katie, Dieter, Jens and Brita. My door is always open and I welcome an opportunity to meet with You!
