First Lutheran Church is a congregation of people:
  • Discovering what it means to follow Jesus' way.  Some are new to the story of Jesus Christ and others, long-time tellers of this Good News.
  • Seeking to respond to God's amazing grace in and through our worship, life-long learning, fellowship, prayer, care for one another, and service beyond our doors.
  • Partnering in ministry with Luther Park Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Thankful for its deep roots in the Sandpoint, ID community.
  • Connected to the body of Christ through the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).  

​This is the mission we share in Christ's name: to praise God, nurture faith, and serve all.

We affirm this weekly during our worship services and seek to live it out in our daily lives.
